I had the pleasure of staying at this flat for five nights. It's clean, well-maintained and very charming. The owners are friendly, helpful and accommodating. One lives right next door so you feel you are in good hands. The shower in the bathroom is great and there is enough space on the main level to house your suitcase and daily needs. Well-stocked linens and all you would need to create snacks, small meals or a simple cup of tea in the kitchen. Wi-fi signal wasn't that strong, but it was great to have. Also sometimes it WAS nice just to watch a little bit of TV at the end of the day. The spiral stairway is small and the ceiling is low, but these are minor annoyances considering the flat as a whole. I loved staying in Beyoglu as you are much closer to good restaurants and cafes for the evening. The sights of the Old City are easy to get to on foot (30 minutes maximum), and being on the "new" side gives you a broader sense of Istanbul. As a solo female, I always felt safe in the neighbourhood and the street is always busy enough. The flat is near the wonderful neighbourhood of Cihangir, which has great antique shops, boutiques and cafes. The owners make sure you are comfortable and as though you were a friend. Highly recommend.
